Pilotsmith is seeking a director of maintenance to lead our team and help shape our maintenance department. This individual will work from our Green Bay, WI location and be responsible for the oversight of aircraft maintenance for our entire organization. Pilotsmith is a flight school and predominately works on its own fleet of aircraft. You will lead a small team that ensures all aircraft are operated in a safe and FAA compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and effective guidance to team members in accordance with high FAA standards.
- Maintain accurate records with in-house Executive Assistant.
- Support development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and safe.
- Participate in faculty meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Good work ethic and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Active A&P Certificate
- Inspection Authorization and 5 years of GA experience
- Recent GA Experience Required
- Experience on Cessna 172, Cirrus SR20, Cirrus SR22T, Piper Seminole
- Must be able to pass Company/DOT Drug Test
Ideal:
- Experience Running a Repair Station
- Experience with ROTAX Engines
- Sheet Metal Repair Experience
- Avionics Installation / Troubleshooting (Engine Monitors, etc)

Compensation $30-$50/hour depending on experience.
